Célio is a fourth-year Forest Engineering student at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Manica. He is passionate about environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and health advocacy.As a senior staff writer at the Monarch Ranger International Students Newspaper, he has cultivated strong communication skills and a commitment to storytelling for positive change in the climate sector. In 2022, he led a Sexual & Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS project in Chimoio, emphasizing youth empowerment and informed decision-making. His three-month internship at Instituto de Investigação Agrária de Moçambique broadened his understanding of forestry and sustainable agricultural practices. Célio is a huge fan of music and books of all genres and is excited to contribute with his academic background, communication skills, and hands-on experiences to the YLabs Youth Leadership Cohort.
